Experience hardcore the Philippine indie film world at its finest. Watch the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival at the Cutural Center of the Philippines on July 17-26, 2009. This will be Cinemalaya's 5th year.
I was able to catch a glimpse of what's in store for Cinemalaya fans and followers alike. Below are the three Cinemalaya Cinco short films made to promote this year's festival.

I am also taking the opportunity to promote "Dinig Sana Kita" by Mike Sandejas. He made last year's best film "Tulad Ng Dati" which stars the phenomenal Pinoy-Rock Band "The Dawn"
Mike Sandejas' latest festival entry is an interesting one. I really want to see this flick on July - my sister and I had a chance to be a part of this film.

"Dinig Sana Kita" (If I Knew What You Said)
A love story between a Deaf boy who loves to dance and a rocker girl who abuses her hearing. Crossing paths in a Baguio camp that mixes Deaf and hearing kids, the two find that they have a lot in common including a passion for music.
Starring Zoe Sandejas (Musician) and Romalito Mallari (Deaf actor)
Robert Sena, Lorenzo Mara, Mica Torre, Adrianna Agcaoili, Cherry Velarde-Mactal
Deaf Actors: CJ Patriarca, Bronson Escalderon & Jayjay Sunico
Rockers: Marc Lopez, JJ Lacson, Wilf Trinidad and a special appearance by SUGARFREE
